Stevenage Half Marathon Sunday 6th November

The Stevenage Half Marathon was on the 6th November and was attended by Jan Haydon, flying the flag for the Oh Ladies. 513 runners took to the Fairlands of Stevenage, it was bitterly cold and the rain stayed away.

Jan came in with an impressive time of 01:55:49. This was very close to her time at the Luton Half Marathon the previous week of 01:52:49.

Well done Jan, you are a very relentless and enthusiastic runner and cease to amaze us with your efforts.

A very cold and wet week, torrential at times, put a dampener on running routines this week.

However, 7 very brave Oh ladies ventured out to the Ellenbrook Fields Parkrun event, which was run directed by our very own Carrie Hudson.

Perfect conditions this week for running.  Cool, no breeze and dry!

We had one Oh-mazing lady that got on a high speed train to Edinburgh and participated in the Portobello Parkrun.  The photos were glorious and so was Maria Blythes’ time.

Jan Haydon marshalled at the Ellenbrook Fields Parkrun, saving her legs for a Half Marathon at Luton the next day.

Well done to all the Oh Ladies that marshalled at Ellenbrook Fields and those that ran!
