We wish everyone happy safe running for this momentous weekend!  It does also mean that there will be no Sunday morning run from Hatfield Station on Sunday.

Things to look forward to next week: Oct 3rd – 10th

#thisgirlcanweekwh, its a great time to try something new in a female environment, many for free so take a look – www.welhat.gov.uk/thisgirlcan

We are supporting this initiative with a session every day next week – so come along to those as well and a bring a friend or relative.

The Winter Training plan is attached and starts from October 10th.  Please take a look and see what new sessions are on offer and your old favorites that have remained.

If you around on Saturday MP Grant Shapps will be starting Ellenbrook Fields parkrun and joining in celebrating Global parkrun day!  Pop down and join in the fun.

Awards season – Please take a few moments to nominate your running club for the local sports awards.  We have done well in previous years and hope to keep our name on the nominations list this year – but we need your help!  Please click below to nominate!

An Invitation to a celebration! We are 4 years old today!

Happy Oh!nniversary!
Indeed the Old Hatfield Ladies Running has turned the big 4 (Oh!) today!
Please join us to celebrate on Thursday September 15th at Hatfield Cycles (12-13 Hatfield Road East, Hatfield, AL10 0ET)  from 7 pm for an evening with Shu Pillinger, female endurance cyclist who started with a 5 k Race for Life. It promises to be an inspiring evening!
Drinks and nibbles will be served and you are welcome to bring a guest along – men included!
We will also be celebrating our recent award ‘Club of the Year’ East Region, from UK Athletics as well as the close of the summer season in preparation for the winter of training ahead. It will be a great opportunity to catch up with friends, meet new people and hear some inspiring stories. Oh, and eat and drink! It is an informal evening so feel free to pop in for as much or as little of the evening as suits you. We would just be happy to see you there!
