Hi Runners, just to let you know that I am maintaining a spreadsheet of all events run by our members within our club. It is massive and shows all our wonderful achievements past and present. Parkruns 5K, Race for Life 5K, Snowruns 10K, Run or Dye, Hatfield5, Half Marathons, Full Marathons.
I have been successful in finding most race results online, however, not all I’m afraid. So here is how I need your help! It would be nice if you could post your results on the Oh facebook page (or text or email me) and if at all possible ,a picture of your medal or your running watch with a note to show distance and time. Please dont be shy or modest, we are all proud of your achievements and you inspire others by just putting your trainers on and going out. Be safe, be seen and post your events on my screen!
Why not take a look at the race results posted weekly on our webpage www.ohladies.co.uk
Panshanger Parkrun had a massive 294 runners.
Verulam Parkrun had their biggest event yet, with 456 runners.
Panshanger was graced with 4 Oh ladies. Tracey Jacob ran a PB of 28:07, awesome! Maria Blythe ran close to hers at 28:20, Angela Spicer 28:21 and Natalie Moores first Parkrun 38:01. That is amazing, well done all.
Verulam – Melissa Mileham changed venue to beat her PB and she did so by over a minute. Is it a faster course, we will leave that to you to find out! With 456 runners, all running 5k, Melissa pulled it out of the bag with a massive 23:45.
That is scary and worthy of SHOUTING FROM THE ROOF TOPS!
Panshanger Parkrun 01/01/2016 had 188 runners.
Panshanger Parkrun 02/01/2016 had 236 runners.
Judging by the 5K results on 1st January ‘New Years Day’, I doubt not much alcohol was consumed the evening before! However, it just goes to show what a clear head and sheer determination can do for Louise Sopp who ran 29:45 and Milena Nuti who ran 31:48. I raise my glass of champagne to you both, well done!
2nd January 2016 gave the drinkers a chance to shine and make their trainers muddy.
Maria Blythe came in at 29:05, Andrea Halliwell 39:57 showing the way and bringing home Hannah Ufland and Clare Wotton 41:32 and 41:42 respectively.
Panshanger Parkrun had 270 runners.
25/12/2015 festivities started off with Maria Blythe running 5K in 29:10 and Rebecca Terry was rewarded with a very merry Personal Best of 34:34.
26/12/2015 Melissa Mileham sneaked out for a cheeky Boxing Day 5K at Panshanger and broke the 25:00 minute barrier. A new PB of 24:59, that is F.A.B.
Panshanger Parkrun 19/12/2015 had 226 runners.
Melissa Mileham 25:36, Angela Spicer 26:10 and Maria Blythe 28:50 performed brilliantly. Well done ladies.
